On November 1, 2007 we will have our first in this area LIVE OUT LOUD KIDS Night. We will be in the Cedar Grove Community Center. We will start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 7:30p.m. Our primary goal is to reach children but we will preach and teach the Word of God to anyone who will listen. We will have martial arts demos and games. We will preach and teach about the Walls of Jericho. How they marched and the walls came down. I encourage anyone interested in being set free from anything that keeps you from immediate service to God to come. We will be bring down the walls and the Jesus will be setting people free. Come and be a part of what God is doing through this ministry.

His bond servant
Pastor David

Neglected Ministry?

I believe the most neglected ministry in our church today is our children. Not our youth - not our young adults, but our children. Our churches cry out “Why are we dying?” and I tell you this truth: it is because we have neglected our children. We cannot afford to wait until they are teenagers to teach them how to live the Gospel. We believe by telling them a cute little story about Noah’s Ark or Moses that we have done our job. We have missed the mark! Our children are quite intelligent. They can and will handle the truth. All we need is to tell them. I believe that our children DESERVE to hear the true word of God and how to LIVE it OUT LOUD - unashamed and boldly! In this day and age our children truly need the real rock to stand on. Churches feel that Sunday School is all they need. Look at how many churches are drying up and dying spiritually while at the same time being busier than ever with building projects, committees, and being entertained. We have a program for everyone from singles, to married with children, to no children at all We are missing the one, true program - that is SALVATION and REDEMPTION. We teach them that walking down an isle or being dunked in water makes them right with God. But I tell you, it just gives you exercise and makes you wet. Unless you confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and confess your sins you will never be saved. Awaken O sleeper and proclaim the Good News: that Christ has risen and that Christ will come again. Are you prepared? The children of our churches are our future for the Kingdom of God. Don’t let them slip through our fingers.
